Ethical Hacking, also known as “White hats” is a skill to identify vulnerabilities in organization’s network and infrastructure. It involves an authorized attempt to gain unauthorized access to organization’s computer system, application or database.  Different from cybersecurity defensive nature, ethical hacker with proactive and offensive nature can provide resolved solution to prevent incidents or attacks by malicious attacker. Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) is a global recognized credential issued by EC-council positioned to validate knowledge of investigating the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of a system in a lawful manner and providing a the solution to restore it.

About the Certification
  • The certification was launched and awarded in 2003 by The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-council) which was founded in 2001 as a world’s largest cyber security technical certification body. There are over 200,000 information security professionals being trained and certified in 150 countries.

Examination Highlights
  • A 4-Hour Computer Based Testing (CBT) examination
  • The exam comprises of 125 multiple-choice questions, the passing score range from 65% -85%, depend on the difficulty rating process.
  • After successful enrolment, you are allowed to take the examination up to 3 times in 12 months period should you not pass the exam on the first attempt
Chartered Requirements

  • Maintain the certification

Earn and report a minimum of 120 credit by participating in EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) Program within three year and require to submit at least 40 credits each year.

Any member certified or recertified requires to pay an annual membership of USD80 by holding a minimum of one certificate under the ECE
policy
